# Executive Summary

**Gavedu (GVDT) is a DePIN — a decentralized physical infrastructure network — being built around public Wi-Fi in India.** The plan is to deploy physical public Wi-Fi hotspots under India's official **PM-WANI** framework, monetize them with Google Ads, and settle the operator and investor economy on the **Base Layer-2 blockchain**.

> **Status first.** As of **21 August 2026**, no nodes are online, no ad revenue has ever been collected, and neither the staking contract nor the vesting vault has been deployed. The three loops below are the **design**, not a description of anything currently running. See [**Implementation Status**](/gavedu-by-bhumitat/implementation-status.md).

## The design: three loops

1. **Consumer loop (free internet)** — *the only loop that has ever run.* A user connects to a Gavedu hotspot, watches a Google Ad, is credited reward points in the app, and spends those points for Wi-Fi minutes. No wallet, no gas, no crypto knowledge. The design intends ad revenue to become fiat income for the company; **no ad revenue has been collected to date.**
2. **Operator loop (own a node)** — *not built; no contract exists.* The design calls for a local operator (a PDO — Public Data Office) to buy a Gavedu PM-WANI device, with a matching value of GVDT locked on-chain and released over 24 months, and only while the node holds ≥90% monthly uptime. No vesting vault and no uptime oracle have been deployed, and no GVDT has ever been released to any operator.
3. **Global investor loop (fund a node)** — *not built; not open.* The design calls for a participant to buy GVDT on Uniswap and stake it, with Gavedu using that capital signal to deploy one new physical node in India. No staking contract exists, no stake has ever been accepted, and no node has been funded this way.

**This paper makes no return-of-capital promise, no yield promise, and no price or profit prediction.**

## Why the design is shaped this way

The intent is that ad revenue funds free internet, that hardware rewards release only against measured service, and that capital is tied to physical deployment. The token is not the product — **the network is intended to be the product, and the token to coordinate it.** How much of that intent has been implemented is stated, dated, on the Implementation Status page.

## Verify, don't trust

* **GVDT token (Base):** `0x231fABEf034df3465cDA908a1cab9F942e46cB07`
* **On-chain node registry (Base):** `0x45e88Bb55C77B088EF37F66A7a3eB2514D18c8C2` — call `totalNodes()` yourself. It counts registration records written to the contract, not nodes currently serving traffic.

The token contract and the tokenomics are checkable on-chain. The operator and investor programmes are not on-chain because they have not been built — see [Implementation Status](/gavedu-by-bhumitat/implementation-status.md). We ask you to verify, not to trust.
